Vanessa Rousso, born on February 5, 1983 in White Plains, New York, is a professional poker player known as “Lady Maverick,” who has earned more than $3.5 million during her career, making her one of the highest-earning women in the sport.

Prior to gaining fame in the world of professional poker, she was an accomplished athlete and academic. In high school, she was a member of the lacrosse, swimming, and debate teams and graduated as valedictorian of her class.

Rousso has made appearances on various reality shows and notably finished third on season 17 of Big Brother. Her sister Tiffany Rousso also appeared on the CBS series Big Brother. Notably, she was married to Chad Brown from 2009-2012 before marrying Melissa Ouellet.
