Victoria Holmes, born on July 17, 1975 in Berkshire, England, is a novelist well-known by her pseudonym Erin Hunter. She is recognized as one of the writers behind the popular Warriors book series, which have achieved New York Times bestseller status. The books are divided into several miniseries and were crafted by a team of authors.

Prior to her literary success, Holmes graduated from the University of Oxford and worked as an English teacher before joining Working Partners as an editor.

In a trivia note about her work on Warriors, she once disclosed that Ravenpaw, Cloudtail, and Brambleclaw are among her favorite characters from the series. Having grown up on an English farm, Holmes developed a passion for reading and writing at a very young age.
