About Anita Tsoy
Anita Tsoy is a pop singer born in Moscow, Russia on February 7, 1971. She gained fame in Russia with albums such as The Black Swan (1998), To the East (2007) and You’re A (2011). Throughout her career, she has received accolades including the Golden Gramophone and the National Music Prize. Before pursuing a career in music, Tsoy studied various instruments including guitar, piano, flute and violin. Despite being offered a contract with Cirque du Soleil as a vocalist, she declined the offer.
Tsoy is of Korean descent and was appointed as an Ambassador of Korean Culture and Tourism between Russia and South Korea in 2004. She is married to politician Sergey Tsoy and they have a son named Sergey.
