About Anne Parrish
Anne Parrish (1888-11-12) was an American novelist and children’s author known for works such as The Dream Coach, Floating Island, and The Perennial Bachelor. She attended the Philadelphia School of Design for Women before publishing her first literary work, Pocketful of Poses, in 1923. Parrish was a three-time finalist for the Newbery Medal and married poet and novelist Josiah Titzell in 1938. Born in Colorado, she passed away in Connecticut.
