Ana Maria Canseco is a Mexican television personality known for her work as a co-host on the program Despierta America, which airs on Univision. She was born on September 5, 1967 in Mexico City, Mexico.

Prior to her career at Univision, Canseco worked as an anchor on a news show in Texas. In 2002, she served as the Master of Ceremonies at The White House for a celebration commemorating Cinco de Mayo.

Canseco’s family history took an unexpected turn when she discovered that the woman she had believed to be her sister was actually her birth mother. This revelation occurred when Canseco was only 12 years old. Despite this revelation and change in family dynamics, Canseco was raised in Mexico City.
