Angelica Castro is a Chilean TV presenter, actress, model, and entrepreneur born on May 11, 1972 in Santiago. She gained recognition for her role as Maria Amador in the 2003 FX series Nip/Tuck.
Castro was discovered at age fourteen while doing fashion photography for Paula magazine. At seventeen, she made her television debut by hosting a fashion show on La Red network. She then earned representation from Ford Modeling Agency and appeared on covers of magazines such as Elle and Marie Claire.
In January 2002, she married fellow Chilean actor Cristian de la Fuente and they have a daughter named Laura de la Fuente Castro.
