She was a renowned movie actress best known for her iconic role as Mrs. Robinson in the classic 1967 film “The Graduate.” Additionally, she won an Academy Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Annie Sullivan in “The Miracle Worker” and appeared in the 1980 film “The Elephant Man.”
