She gained acclaim for her webseries “The Louise Log.” Before launching her career in the film industry, she pursued undergraduate studies in Paris and went on to earn her MFA from Rutgers University in 1978.
Flournoy’s debut short film “Louise Smells a Rat” was notably produced with a budget of only $1000. In her personal life, she married Mark Flournoy and together they raised two children.
