About Annette Funicello
Annette Funicello was born on October 22, 1942, in Utica, New York. She is best known for her role as a Mouseketeer and her appearances in films such as Beach Party and How to Stuff a Wild Bikini. Annette also gained popularity for her pop songs “Tall Paul” and “Pineapple Princess.”
Before gaining fame, she was discovered by Walt Disney at the age of 12 during her performance as the Swan Queen in Swan Lake. Annette transitioned from an innocent Mouseketeer to a surfer babe in films like Muscle Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Pajama Party, and Beach Blanket Bingo.
In 1965 Annette married Jack Gilardi with whom she had three children named Gina, Jack, and Jason. After their divorce she later married Glen Holt.
