Antonia San Juan, born on May 22, 1961, in Las Palmas, Spain, is a prominent TV actress who has also ventured into directing and screenwriting. She gained widespread recognition for her role in the acclaimed 1999 film Todo sobre mi madre and for portraying Estela Reynolds in La que se avecina.
Prior to her fame, San Juan moved to Madrid at the age of 19 and initially pursued a career as a theater actress. Her breakthrough came with her appearance in Pedro Almodovar’s Todo sobre mi madre following her debut in La vida siempre es corta (1994).
