About April Henry
April Henry is a bestselling author known for her thrillers, mysteries, and young adult fiction. Born on April 14, 1959, in Portland, Oregon, she gained recognition with her debut book Circles of Confusion which was a finalist for the Anthony Award and the Agatha Award.
Some of her notable works include Shock Point, The Night She Disappeared, and the Triple Threat and Claire Montrose series. When she was twelve years old, she received high praise from renowned children’s author Roald Dahl for one of her stories and he recommended it for publication in a popular children’s journal.
Apart from writing, April holds a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a purple belt in kung fu. She was raised in Medford, Oregon by her florist mother and television anchor father.
