Elodie Yung is a French actress born on February 22, 1981 in Paris, France. She is best known to American audiences for her portrayal of Elektra in the Netflix series Daredevil and also appeared in the American film adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Prior to gaining recognition, she began her career on television with roles in La vie devant nous as Jade Perrin and Mademoiselle Joubert as Fanny Ledoin. Notably, she portrayed Laura Maurier in Les bleus: premiers pas dans la police for 29 episodes from 2006 to 2010.
Yung graduated from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She is in a long-term relationship with actor Jonathan Howard and together they have one child.
