Veerle Baetens Feet
Veerie Baetens, born on January 24, 1978 in Brasschaat, Belgium, is a Belgian movie actress. She achieved recognition as a Flemish TV-star Award winner for portraying the eponymous role in Sara. Baetens is also known for her performance in the Academy Award nominated film Broken Circle Breakdown, which was in contention for Best Foreign Film.
Prior to her fame, she appeared in De verliefde akela and Misstoestanden as Fanny Kiekoboe in 2000. Notably, she received the John Kraaijkamp Musical Award for her portrayal of Pippi Longstocking. Baetens was born and raised in Brasschaat, Belgium.
